With Tresham cancelled we made the long trip to the Southdowns ride in Sussex for Arnold's final novice ride of 40K.  This meant leaving the yard at 5.30am but at least the sun was shinning.  Arnold and Dace rode the entire ride on his own  at a good speed of 14.3K and finished on a grade 2  so mission accomplished and now ungraded to open

Our third outing of the season was to compete in the CEI 2* at Kings Forest.                        With the weather forcast predicting snow there was a big doubt that the ride would ever go ahead, but after receiving a optimistic report from the ride organisers we decided to make the long trip.  The snow started falling as we arrived and quickly covered the events field.  Luckily the organisers had a plan and re-marked the course with paper arrows to replace the ground marks that were covered in snow.             The next morning the van was telling us the temperature was   -8 with the snow driving down we started the ride with the plan to take it easy and see how conditions rode.  Everything went brilliant, frenchie was first to vet on each loop and went on to record a comfortable win in just over 17K the fastest speed of the day!

Our second ride of the season saw us make the long trip to Cannock after our local ride Jubilee was cancelled at the last miniute.  This was the first opportunity for Dace to compete frenchie in public and we were very happy with our Grade 1 in the 64K class.

Great first ride of the season with Terminators Dream (Arnold) and Lorna gaining a grade 1 at the Forest of Dean ride

The National awards for the 2012 season were held at the Daventry hotel in November. The team brought home five trophy's. Plus numerous place rosettes, what a night!                      French Lieutenant and Lorna finished the season in 5th place in the season championships  and won the Ross trophy for top homebred, Senior Grand Prix top ER horse, G Putnik (Top ex.arab racehorse) and the GB FEI championship!          Mayday Dream and Dace finished 6th in the YR championship and won the Merlin memorial trophy for top YR FEI horse.

MARGAM PARK - 13TH MAY 07- French Lieutenant comes a very close second in the 80K ER, (50 miles) by a whisker in a racing finish under a brilliant ride by Lorna kidson.  The rain never stopped all day, which made this tough ride all the harder, but frenchie was full of running at the end and we will now aim for a longer ride this season

BREAMORE - 10TH JUNE 07- Mystic Dream and Liz came a very good fourth from a starting field of 21 in the 82K ER finishing in a riding time of just under 5hrs and a speed of 16.6K.  The very hot conditions made the ride even harder, with large quantities of water required to cool both Mystic and Liz at the vet gates!  Both Mystic and Frenchie are now being aimed at Cirencester in 2 weeks time.

CIRENCESTER - 23rd/24th JUNE 07-  A wonderful weekend, with Mystic Dream winning the 100K Denbeigh slate at a speed of 16.4K and French lieutenant winning the 80K National young riders in a total speed of 17.93K, he did a amazing final loop in 28.5K!

RED DRAGON - 30th September 07- With Racing at Wolverhampton the day before, the crew had a 4am start, but it proved well worth it, with a 1, 2 in the FEI 80K ER.  With both horses well in front of the field by the 2nd vet gate it was decided that they would race from the final field to decide the winner.  With Frenchie beating Mystic a head at the line, a well deserved win for Lorna after Margam Park earlier in the season.  So the end of a wonderful 2007 season, the best achievement being our 100% completion rate.

SCIENCE SUPPLEMENTS HARLING DROVE - 16TH MARCH 2008

Our 2008 starts as 2007 finished with a one, two in the 81K ER at Harling Drove, this time Mystic with Sam Mowatt riding finished 6 minutes ahead of Frenchie with Lorna Kidson in the saddle in a amazing speed of 23.07K!!!!  Beating a very impressive field, we have now made the decision to take Frenchie to Sangatte with the British development squad leaving on the 16th of April and Mystic will be aimed at the 2 day 160K at Berkshire Downs

SALISBURY - 9th September - Mushammer runs a brilliant race to finish 3rd over a inadequate 7F.  Golden Dream shows plenty of speed to lead the field for the first 4Furlongs of her 6F race, finishing a creditable 6th.
